My name’s Paul. At this time, the day of this website’s conception, I’m 42. I’ve been running for nearly a decade, and over these years of I’ve changed my daily routine quite drastically: I quit drinking alcohol, prioritized sleep, and progressively cut back on meat, eggs, and dairy until finding myself 99% whole foods/plant based.
My exercise routine has broadened to not only including running, but all sorts of total body fitness, such as bodyweight calisthenics, core, balance, plyometrics, sprinting, VO2 max, and more.
Spiritually, I study Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, and general mindfulness. On top of all this, I work full time (and then some), I’m a father, a husband, and I even try to enjoy a good book, film, or TV series now and again.
As I approach the second half of life, I believe that I’m aging well and I would like to share the road ahead with anyone who may be interested. On top of this, I feel that blogging will be a good way for my grandchildren and beyond to understand who I was, hopefully making them proud to be my kin. If I can help even a single person by documenting my journey, I believe it will have been time well spent.
